THREE-DIMENSIONAL NUMERICAL CALCULATION OF MAGNETIC FIELDS IN ALUMINUM REDUCTION CELLS

Abstract: Surface line-charge method is applied to calculate the magnetic distribution in aluminum reduction cells.Three-dimensional numerical calculation is carried out.By the comparison between calculated results and measured results,it is shown that the results of applying this method to calculate the magnetic field are comparatively precise and in accord with practical data.The corresponding numerical software is also established and applied for designing aluminum reduction cell system.
