Abstract: A Monte Carlo code is described which simulates the displacement process and the transmissions of energetic particles in solids by ion bombardment, including the operating principle, the physics model and the computing examples. Based on the binary collision approximation, the depth distributions of displasced atoms in amorphous targets induced by α particles are investigated, and the relations between the depth distributions of displaced atoms and energy deposition in solids are discussed.
