COMPUTATIONAL SIMULATION OF THE SURFACE GRAVITY WAVE AND THE FORCE ACTING ON A FLAT PLATE AFTER ITS IMPACT ON A WAFER SURFACE

Abstract: The phenomena caused by the impact of a free falling flat plate on a water surface are investigated numerically. The computational method designed Shows its versatile ability for simulating the transient surface gravity wave propagation as well as the time varying force acting on the flat plate.
