Hole Solitons in an Atomic Chain with Double-well Potentials Under Damping

Abstract: With a method of multiple scales,a one-dimensional atomic chain with symmetric double-well potentials with damping is investigated.A damped nonliner Schrödinger equation is derived.Analytical solutions of damped hole solitons propagating in the chain are presented.
