Abstract237)      PDF (367KB)(1171)
A new method for adaptive refinement of 2D unstructured grids generated by advancing front technique is presented. Some small triangle units are arranged on the place where mesh needs to be refined, and all the sides of these units are regarded as a part of the initial front.During the advancing process, near the above mentioned units, the cells are naturally generated from small to large. For the flow with shock,in the mesh graph,a quite clear shock picture is formed.

2-D COMPRESSIBLE FLOW COMPUTATIONS IN COMPLEX DOMAINS WITH EULER EQUATIONS ON UNSTRUCTURED GRID
Huang Mingke
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1994, 11 (4): 467-471.
Abstract258)      PDF (345KB)(1221)
A procedure of generating 2-D unstructured grids with Delaunay triangulation is proposed. The grid generated can be used to computation of compressible flow in complex multiply-connected domains. A computer code for flow computations with the use of Euler equations on unstructured grid by finite volume method of cell-centred formulation is then developed. Some of the computation results are given.
