Abstract265)      PDF (417KB)(1015)
A 2-D Fokker-Planck equation is discretized and solved by an implicit 5-point scheme and the NAG library routine D03UAF. With a my-tracing code combined with a Fokker-Planck equation, the effect of the local synergistic interaction between LHW and IBW and current fully driven by waves with or without IBW in the HT-7 Tokamak are studied. Numerical simulations show that the LHW power deposition profile and the driven current distribution are modified due to the interaction between IBW and LHW and the efficiency of LHCD is improved. The current distribution driven completely by LHW expands obviously than the one driven fully by LHW+IBW. The current distribution driven by waves changes with frequencies and n// spectrum of IBW during the synergy of LHW+IBW.

CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    2001, 18 (4): 346-350.
Abstract240)      PDF (234KB)(1060)
It analyzes the eddy current, the distribution of the induced magnetic field and the electromagnetic force on the lower hybrid wave launching antenna on the superconducting tokamak HT 7 by using finite element circuit method.A new iterative algorithm is developed to analyze the coupled magnetic field. The method and results obtained are helpful to study the eddy current and electro magnetic force on metal plate placed in rather complicated electro magnetic environment.

ZHU Xue-guang, KUANG Guang-li, ZHAO Yan-ping, LI You-yi, XIE Ji-kang
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    2000, 17 (6): 712-718.
Abstract258)      PDF (174KB)(1174)
The coupling efficiency of antenna in tokamak for ion cyclotron resonance heating frequency range, depends mainly on the system and size of the antenna. Based on the difference of plasma absorption performance to different spectrum component, and on whether the antenna current spectrum matches the spectrum of plasma absorption, the problem of antenna design of fast wave heating is discussed in detail.
