ANALYSIS OF THE POISSON EQUATION IN THREE DIMENSIONAL DOMAINS OF REVOLUTION USING THE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD OF LINES
Lu Kun, Yuan Si
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1997, 14 (2): 131-142.
Abstract217)      PDF (281KB)(759)
The Poisson equation is dealt with in three dimensional domains of revolution using the newly developed semi analytical method, the finite element method of lines(FEMOL).The original problem has been converted,by means of the Fourier expansion in circular direction, into a series of two dimensional problems defined on the plane of revolution.Corresponding FEMOL elements have been constructed. The singularities at r=0 in the cylindrical coordinates and on degenerate element sides or lines have reasonably been dealt with in details.Numerical results are given and show that this method is able to produce highly accurate and reliable solution with few elements.

APPLICATION OF CUMULANT EXPANSION IN EXAFS DATA ANALYSIS
Wan Jun, Lu Kun-quan
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1986, 3 (4): 481-486.
Abstract176)      PDF (342KB)(678)
It is more reasonable and accurate to use cumulant Expansion in EXAFS data analysis In this paper, the formula of cumulant expansion. for structural parameter determination is given, and the result of EXAFS data analysis on GeO2 glass is reported and compared with that obtained by conventional method.
