CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1994, 11 (2): 172-178.
Abstract240)      PDF (491KB)(833)
A neutron transport code and a charged-ion radiation damage code have been linked to simulate neutron induced defects in the static, multi-component amorphous target. In simulating collision cascades, replacement collisions have been taken into account, especially. It corrected the value of DPA about 10%~20%. Improper replacements were recorded also. The radiation damage in two kinds of materials candidated for the first wall in fusion reactor is calculated. Calculation gives the production rates of PKA and DPA, gas production rates and their depth distributions. The results show that damage distributions are almost uniform body distributions, the DPA value of PE-16 is a little larger than that of SS316, the hydrogen production rates is nearly two times as much as that of SS316, the helium production rates is 1.45 times as much as that of SS316. It means that the radiation damage of PE-16 is more serious than that of SS316. The cross section data from MC(87) n library is used in the calculation.

Pan Zhengying, Shao Qiyun, Zhu Baixiang
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1993, 10 (2): 208-214.
Abstract253)      PDF (503KB)(762)
The energy deposition, production of displacement and replacement collisions induced by fusion α-particles with energies from 10keV to 50keV are studied by computer code MARLOWE based upon binary-collision approximation. The results are compared with the Monte-Carlo simulation. The number of vacancies is found to be proportional to the elastic energy, deposition, in agreement with analytical theory. The similar profiles are observed for both elastic energy deposition and vacancies. The radiation damages caused by α-particles in different target elements are discussed as well.

THE MOLECULAR DYNAMICS SIMULATION OF LOW ENERGY CLUSTERS IMPACTING ON GOLD THIN FILMS
Pan Zhengying
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1992, 9 (S2): 719-720.
Abstract203)      PDF (172KB)(648)
The aluminum and carbon clusters impacting on gold thin films have been studied by molecular dynamics(MD) simulation. The initial energies are 0.1~0.2keV per atom. The energy spectra of target recoil atoms have been calculated as a function of time. It was shown that the target atoms may achieve more than twice of the maximum recoil energy in a single elastic collision. The effect has been traced to multiple hits by cluster atoms and the collisions between moving atoms.

MONTE CARLO SIMULATION OF DEPTH DISTRIBUTION OF DISPLACED ATOMS IN AMORPHOUS TARGETS
Shao Qiyun, Pan Zhengying, Huo Yukun
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1992, 9 (S1): 551-554.
Abstract317)      PDF (297KB)(691)
A Monte Carlo code is described which simulates the displacement process and the transmissions of energetic particles in solids by ion bombardment, including the operating principle, the physics model and the computing examples. Based on the binary collision approximation, the depth distributions of displasced atoms in amorphous targets induced by α particles are investigated, and the relations between the depth distributions of displaced atoms and energy deposition in solids are discussed.

Gao Xinghua, Huo Yukun, Pan Zhengying, Shao Qiyun, Chen Janxin, Wu Sheming
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1991, 8 (4): 395-406.
Abstract200)      PDF (681KB)(837)
A Monte-Carlo Neutron Transport Program and Neutron Radiation Damage Program are presented for studying radiation damage in the First Wall. The programs are used to static multi-component amorphous target. With the average wall load 1MW/m2, the following calculating results for EHR first wall (type 316 stainlees steel)have been performed using designed neutron spectrums at EHR first wall: the PKA energy spectrums (30eV to 1MeV), average displacement per atom rate (20.6dpa/a), average helium and hydrogen production rates (247.18appm/a and 721.15appm/a). It is shows that Hybrid Reactor's radiation damage more serious than pure Fusion Reactor's by comparison of above results and EHP's calculated results in the same wall load. The cross-section data from MC (87) n library is used in this calculation.

MONTE CARLO SIMULATION OF SPUTTERING OF TWO-COMPONENT MULTI-LAYER DYNAMIC TARGETS
Shao Qiyun, Pan Zhengying
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1990, 7 (2): 205-210.
Abstract225)      PDF (404KB)(730)
A Monte Carlo computer program simulating the sputtering of two-component multi-layer dynamic target is presented, including principle, physical models, program design and applicability. The atomic scattering is governed by the Moliere approximation to the Thomas-Fermi potential and is evaluated with the binary-collision approximation. The target is treated in slab geometry, and the thickencss and the target composition of each slab can be rearranged during sputtering. This program can be used to calculate sputtering yields of two-component amorphous target and, therefore, to study preferential sputtering, energy and angular distributions of sputtered species as well as the depth of origin of the sputtered particles in solid target. Some calculation results are given in this paper.
