TRANSMISSION OF SHORT WAVELENGTH LASER WITH THE TRANSVERSE MULTIMODE IN CAVITIES WITH CIRCULAR MIRRORS OF SPHERICAL SURFACES
FU Han-qing, WANG Tai-chun
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    2002, 19 (2): 132-136.
Abstract205)      PDF (193KB)(1226)
Fresnel integral equations of the transverse multimode are solved by the numerical integration method in the cylinder coordinate. Under the initial conditions of the uniform and random distribution given respectively for the complex light-field amplitude, TEMn0 modes of the confocal and stable cavities with circular mirrors of spherical surfaces as well as the plane cavity with circular mirrors are computed and analized. Computational results indicate that the numerical results of single mode for spherical cavity coincide with the analytical results. The results of the multimode not only conform to the behavior of the multimode space distribution, but also show that those of the fundamental mode dominate.

NUMERICAL STUDY OF GUASSIAN SPHERICAL WAVE MODIFIED METHOD OF THE PARAXIAL WAVE EQUATIONS IN THE UNSTABLE CAVITY
FU Han-qing, WANG Tai-chun
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    2001, 18 (6): 501-506.
Abstract272)      PDF (242KB)(1226)
The advantages and disadvantages of the 3D paraxial wave equations in the confocal unstable cavity solved by the difference methods and 3D Fresnel integral equations solved by the numerical integral method and the fast Fourier transform (FFT) method are analyzed. It is assumed that the laser beam in the unstable cavity transfers by the modified Guassian spherical wave. By using a coordinate transformation, the diverging or converging beam is converted into equivalent collimated beam. The paraxial wave equation of the modified function is solved by FFT method. Under the same conditions, the obtained results coincide with those in the internal and external references. The near field and far field results computed in confocal unstable cavity of the COIL experiment are reasonable.

EFFECTS OF THE TILT OF MIRRORS FOR THE VIRTUAL CONFOCAL UNSTABLE RESONATOR ON LASER TRANSMISSION
FU Han-qing, WANG Tai-chun
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    2000, 17 (3): 286-292.
Abstract264)      PDF (248KB)(1225)
In this paper, we first analyse by the geometric optics method the relation of angular sensitivity and deviation distance sensitivity with the magnification m and tilt angle β respectively. Then the changes of near-field phase and far-field intensity, which were led to by the tilt of a single mirror and two mirrors with different deviated direction respectively, are computed and analysed by C-6 code. The computational results indicate that the tilt of mirrors really lead to the near field phase changing from uniform to nonuniform distribution and the laser beam quality from high to low.

Under the nuclear explosion of high-altitude, second electrons are produced by high energy electrons that are produced by γ-compton scater ionizing the atomosphere. In this paper, we deduced the analytic solution of the rate equations discribing second electrons and compared the results of analytic solution with those of numerical solution:the higher the altitude, the nearer the computational results of two methods are.

Abstract167)      PDF (783KB)(1060)
This paper is the continuity of the reference [1] and [2], is also last a paper of those works. Its subject are to solve the equations of the primary electrons with Lagranican method. At the same time, numerrccal results are given by PIC, Eulerian and Lagrangean method. we compare those results with the results of the non-self-consintent method when electric field intensity E>105v/M,the results of the self-consistent method is nearer when electric field intensity E≤105v/M, the results of self-consistent rather nice coincide with the results of non-self-consistent method.

Wang Tai-chun, Wang Yu-zhi
CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1985, 2 (3): 327-336.
Abstract183)      PDF (565KB)(882)
This paper is the coutinuity of the reference[1]. Under the case that the conditions of the Maxwell's equations, the equations of the rate, and corresponding to difference scheme are not varied, the equations of the primary electrons are solved by Euleran method. The difference scheme of the equations of the primary electrona are derived in the cne-dimensional plane and the two-dimensional cylindrical coordinate. At the same time, the model of the two-dimensional cylinder are numerically caltulated. Both the calculating results of this paper and the reference[1]are discussed in the reference[2].

CHINESE JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS    1985, 2 (2): 193-204.
Abstract179)      PDF (730KB)(993)
In this paper, the difference scheme of the Maxwell's equations and the equations of the rate are given by us,at the same time, the equations of the primary electrons are solved by the Particle-in-cell (pic-method) and the primary electric current are obtained. To regard the primary electric current as the source term of the equations of the rate, the secondary electric current again are abtained, the algebraical sum of those currents driving electromagnetic pulse. Lastly, under the conditio are the source for ns of the nuclear burst, internal electromagnetic pulse produced by the prempt gamma photons are obtained.
