SIMULATION OF 2D CONVECTION-DIFFUSION BY THE LATTICE-BOLTZMANN METHOD

Abstract: The Lattice Boltzmann Method of the 2D convection-diffusion equation is described using the nine-speed model on the square lattice.The coefficients in the equilibrium distribution are determined by the convection coefficient and the diffusion coefficient.The simulating results fit well with the theoretical results.
