Abstract: GNASH is a comprehensive and powerful program code to calculate cross sections and emitted particle spectra in nuclear reactions, basing upon Hauser-Feshbach statistical theory with correction from pre-equilibrium effect. This paper briefs its capacities, features and theoretical models and formulae as well as reviews the progresses made in our exploring and applying this program.
