Abstract: A numerical method of computing steady supersonic flow fields by using adaptive streamline grids. The Friedrichs-Lax Scheme is extended to arbitrary quadrilateral grids.during itaration process the streamline positions are computed from streamline equation after the velocity field is obtained. Finally, the high resolution results obtained by the method are shown.
