Abstract: Two 2-d versions of Hilgenstock type source term correction method are developed for elliptic 2-d body fitted grid generation with orthogonality and spacing controlled on boundaries. A 3-d version of Hilgenstock type source term correction method is presented and used in block structured elliptic grid generation with orthogonality control on interfaces and boundaries. The Euler solution of flows around a wing body tail combination in generated grid predicts reasonable flow phenomena and wing surface pressure distribution in agreement with experiments.
