EVALUATION OF RADIATIVE DIRECT EXCHANGE AREAS IN A NON GRAY MEDIUM

Abstract: Wide band mold and its modification are used to simulate the radiative properties of non-gray gases, and they are combined in zone method to calculate the surface surface radiative direct exchange areas for a non gray medium. Results show that the modified wide band model can successfully describe the properties of non gray gases, and can be easily combined with zone method.
