AN EFFICIENT INVERSION OF THE FORMATION CONDUCTIVITY DISTRIBUTION BASED ON THE INDUCTION MEASUREMENTS

Abstract: Abstract]The inversion of the 6FF40 measurements with the distorted Born iterative method(DBIM) is described.Iterative numbers is decreased by using the data measured from 6FF40.Then,the close form of solution in the z direction and numerical linear interpolation in the radial direction for the eigenmodes are applied,thus avoiding multidimensional integration.Numerical simulation shows the inversion of the efficiency and accuracy improved dramatically.The method has shown to be practical for the interpretation of electrical logging data.
