Calculation of the Approximate Entropy and the Information Entropy of EEG in Phase Space

Abstract: Based on the reconstruction of EEG in phase space, a novel algorithm for calculating the approximate entropy and the information entropy of EEG is proposed.The calculated results show that, there are significant differences between epileptic EEG and normal EEG in the variations in approximate entropy and information entropy.
