Abstract: A partial l-splitting average atomic model is presented, in which only energy levels that mainly contribute to the X-ray emission are opened to l-splitting. Compared with an all l-splitting average atomic model, the partial l-splitting average atomic model obtains same results, such as electron temperature, plasma density, X-ray spectrum and so on, and saves a large amount of CPU time due to the decreasing of energy level number.
