Unified Time Scale Algorithm for Thermal Effect of MESFET Under Irradiation of High Power Electromagnetic Pulses

Abstract: We propose a unified time scale algorithm for thermal effect of MESFET under irradiation of high power electromagnetic pulses.Electromagnetic equations,heat transfer equations and carrier equations are solved effectively.Numerical stability and calculation errors are discussed.A practical MESFET is calculated.Simulated results agree well with measured results.
