Properties of Energy Deposition and Thermal Shock Wave in Material Radiated by Pulsed Electron Beam

Three methods——analysis method,moment method and Monte-Carlo method——are used to calculate the energy deposition of electron beam in LY-12AL,and the results agree well with each other.According to these results and the one dimension elastic-plastic fluid dynamics model, thermal shock wave resulted in the high energy deposition in LY-12AL is calculated. Peaks of the thermal shock wave accords with the results from experiments.

Numerical method of the steady-state Fokker-planck equation is discussed.The numerical results are obtained by linear combination method and single step method based on Gauss node collection. Ratio frequency(RF) current density and power density of the steady state low hybrid wave(LHW) current drive are calculated numerically.
