Properties of Energy Deposition and Thermal Shock Wave in Material Radiated by Pulsed Electron Beam

Abstract: Three methods——analysis method,moment method and Monte-Carlo method——are used to calculate the energy deposition of electron beam in LY-12AL,and the results agree well with each other.According to these results and the one dimension elastic-plastic fluid dynamics model, thermal shock wave resulted in the high energy deposition in LY-12AL is calculated. Peaks of the thermal shock wave accords with the results from experiments.
