应用分波法计算低能电子弹性散射截面

CALCULATING ELASTIC SCATTERING CROSS-SECTION OF LOW ENERGY ELECTRON BY PARTIAL WAVE METHOD

摘要: 基于Pendry的工作,建立一个应用量子力学分波法计算低能电子弹性散射截面的方法,该方法采取Hartree近似和Hartree-Fock近似相结合,既节省计算机时又能将Pendry的算法延伸到keV以上能区。计算了元素Be、C、Al、Cu等的弹性散射截面,并与Screen-Rutherford截面进行比较。本文方法已用于低能电子散射研究中。文中给出计算程序框图。

Abstract: Based on the work of Pendry, a Partial wave method of combining Hartree approximation with Hartree-Fock approximation is proposed for calculating elastic scattering cross-section of low energy electron. That method not only save computer CPU time, but extend Pendry's to a few keV-eneryg region. The elastic scattering cross-sections of element Be, C, Al, Cu are calculated and compared to Rutherford cross-section. The present method has been applied to investigation of low energy electron scattering in solids. A flow chart of calculating elastic scattering cross-section of low energy electron is given.
