具有多孔介质覆面层的柱体绕流流场分析

  1. 钝体绕流问题在自然界和工程实际中广泛存在,其中包含着复杂的粘性流动机制。研究表面覆盖多孔介质层的钝体绕流场及其控制方法有着重要的科学意义和应用背景。本文通过建立多孔结构覆面柱体绕流模型,采用含Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer作用力项的格子Boltzmann 方程对覆盖不同厚度多孔介质层的方柱绕流进行了数值模拟,进而研究多孔介质对钝体绕流流场特性的影响。结果表明:相比于不可渗透壁的柱体,引入合适的参数下的多孔介质覆面层后可以有效降低其升力脉动幅值,但阻力有所增加。同时,较高雷诺数下多孔方柱的数值研究表明:多孔介质壁面使得尾迹区域的剪切层变得相距更远,降低了尾流处湍动能,并将雷诺应力的峰值区域移动到了尾迹区域,抑制了方柱两侧的动量交换,使动量交换的位置发生按在尾迹区域,继而使得尾迹的涡街更加规则化。

An analysis of flow field around a cylinder with porous media layer

  1. The problems of flow around bluff body exist widely in nature and engineering, which contains complex viscous flow mechanism. In this paper, the flow around a square cylinder with different thickness of porous media is numerically simulated by means of the lattice Boltzmann equation with Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer force model, and then the influence of porous media on the flow field characteristics of bluff body is studied. The results show that: compared with the impermeable cylinder, the flow structure is modulated by introducing the porous media layer under certain parameters, the evolution of the shear layer tends to be more symmetrical and stable, which reduces the interaction of vortex motions in the wake region and makes the vortex shedding more periodic, thus effectively reducing the amplitude of lift fluctuation, but increasing the drag in some extent. At the same time, this paper studies the surface porous media under high Reynolds number effect on square column, the results show that the porous medium wall that are farther apart for wake region of the shear layer, reduce the wake turbulence kinetic energy, and Reynolds stress peak area of the mobile to wake region, suppress the momentum exchange on either side of the square column, make the position of the momentum exchange occurred on wake region, Then the vortex street of the wake becomes more regular.

Abstract: The problems of flow around bluff body exist widely in nature and engineering, which contains complex viscous flow mechanism.
